Through My Eyes

Basically, this blog is to help people realise what we've been doing and what we can do. I'm a teen and if I can make a difference, so can everyone else in this world.
And thus...
I ask myself. What do we mean by home? Home is a place where we were born. A place where you stay happy and a place where you wish to die at.
The world is our home. We can move from one place to another and yet, we remain here, on earth. How do human's develope? From a mutation of a single cell. Which came from where?
This, I shall not answer as my religion says that it comes from the soils of earth itself. It would make sense because as we die, we are burried. Slowly we deteriorate
and become like dust again. Being fertiliser to earth. Becomming PART of earth. So why are we not keeping it healthy? It is as good as not respecting our own ancestors or ourselves.
Think about it. If earth dies, so shall we.
Venice, a place of the arts, is drowning as the greenhouse gasses emmits UV rays into earth, making this place hotter than it already is. It melts the ice and it will never stop.
People get skin cancer, animals get dehydrated as their rivers and streams get dried up. What are we doing? What are YOU doing? I don't need a degree, a diploma, a book or even
a television to tell me that the world is falling ill. Look out your window. Do you see the billions of stars still shining as it was 15 years ago? Is the summer just perfect?
Is everyone not sniffling their noses? Well you see, it affects us too. If the world is sick, we shall get sick. What we eat, what we drink, our surroundings, our vitamins and minerals,
it all comes from earth. We can not blame it on others because we affect them. WE are the reason. SARS, Swine Flu's and other epidemics. How did it happen?
We can not say it came from one person because they were not born with it. It comes from what we consume and how it affects our body.
If each person on earth saves a paper a day, we would save a jungle. A place where life breeds. Why is the jungle so important to us then? It's a place where organic life came
from. Animals, plants, a whole chain of life which leads to us. Moreover, so does oxygen. Oxygen is life. What would we do if every tree is gone? Use oxygen tanks ans live
underwater? Where do we get THAT from? There would be a whole loss of food chain that we most absolutely need. And thus, I hope that you will understand the significance of earth
and the significance of home.
